ASVspoof Workshop 2024

The ASVspoof Workshop 2024 is an official Interspeech 2024 satellite event.

Visit the Program page for more details.

Authors are invited to submit papers describing their systems and results, as well as regular papers on related topics.

Contributions are welcome in the field of, but not limited to:

  • Voice anti-spoofing and presentation attack detection
  • Speaker recognition, identification, and verification
  • Generation and detection of synthetic speech, voice conversion, and speech deepfakes
  • Advances in speech synthesis and voice conversion
  • Robustness and generalisation of anti-spoofing systems
  • Adversarial techniques and their impact on speaker verification and countermeasures

PAPER SUBMISSION

While the novelty requirements are more relaxed for challenge system papers, all submissions will be independently reviewed based on their technical quality and contribution to the field. Regular papers must meet the usual criteria for academic rigour. All papers will undergo a blind peer-review process conducted by the scientific committee members.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

Date: August 31, 2024
Time: Full-day workshop
Description: The automatic speaker verification spoofing and countermeasures (ASVspoof) challenge series is a community-led initiative which aims to promote the consideration of spoofing and deepfakes and the development of countermeasures. ASVspoof 5 is the fifth edition in a series of previously biennial, competitive challenges. While previous challenge editions have incorporated distinct logical access (LA), physical access (PA), and speech deepfake (DF) scenarios, ASVspoof 5 has evolved to encompass: (i) speech deepfake detection, and (ii) spoofing-robust automatic speaker verification. With the emergence of advanced techniques like zero-shot and few-shot speech synthesis and voice conversion, the need for robust detection methods has never been greater. The ASVspoof Workshop, an Interspeech 2024 satellite event, will provide an platform for technical discussions, challenge analysis, and engagement with experts and peers to discuss the latest advancements and challenges.
